NU5 represents a major upgrade to the Zcash protocol and a movement to the Halo 2 proving system. As we have done in the past, we engaged NCC and QEDIT to review this upgrade at both the specification and implementation levels. We’re happy to report that no serious or critical issues were found in either audit.
We’ve worked with both NCC and QEDIT in the past and continue to be impressed with their work and attention to detail. We’ve taken their suggestions on board and will continue to use them to improve zcashd and our other work.
